Baritone Jonathan Hare’s singing has garnered praise from The New York Times, The New York Daily News and Classical Singer Magazine. He most recently recreated the role of Didier in Victor Herbert’s MADELEINE with VHRP LIVE!, the first performance of it since the 1914 Metropolitan Opera premiere. He created the role of Tim in Thomas Pasatieri’s GOD BLESS US EVERYONE, and sang the role of Trigorin in Pasatieri’s THE SEAGULL, both with Dicapo Opera and at the Szeged National Theatre in Hungary. Recent performances include singing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and appearing as the male lead in SOMEONE LIKE ME (THE FACEBOOK OPERA.) Other roles in which he appeared include Papageno in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE with Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance, Silvio in I PAGLIACCI and Schaunard in LA BOHÈME with The New Rochelle Opera, Ford in SIR JOHN IN LOVE with Bronx Opera, and Belcore in L’ELISIR D’AMORE with Regina Opera.
